Public Bus Routes

You can use public transit to get to many Places in Costa Rica. Here are the bus routes you can take:

Buses going to Tamarindo, Nosara and Liberia can be booked online at the Transportes Inteligentes    Guanacaste (TIG). You must put your pick up location as Puente Villa Bonita. Do not set it as San Jose. 

Buses going to Monteverde can be booked online at TransMonteverde.

Buses going to Jaco can be booked online at Transportes Jaco Ruta 655.

Buses going to La Fortuna can be booked at the Bus Terminal. Starting in San Jose at 8:30 am or from Puente Villa Bonita at 9 am. 

Buses going to Puerto Viejo/ cahuita/ Manzanillo can be booked through reception. The bus leaves   from San Jose between the following times. Between Sunday and Thursday the bus leaves at 6 am, 8am, 10am, 2pm and 4pm. On Friday and Saturday the buses leave at 6am, 8am, 10am, 12pm, 2pm   and 4pm.
